Everyone belongs here.
We don't make it about us. Peer support is supposed to be about you. Not about who the supporter happens to relate to most, or who fits neatly into the one experience a group was built around. We've seen firsthand what it feels like when that doesn't happen, and we built Skorpion Strength to be the opposite of that.
One experience centered.
Everyone else left in the dark.
Every story. Every struggle.
Everyone welcome.
Just because we haven't walked the exact same path doesn't mean we don't get it. At Skorpion Strength, you are not judged. You are not excluded. You belong here.
We've been the ones left out.
We've sat in rooms where help was built around one kind of experience, and everyone else learned to stay quiet. We know what it is to wonder if your struggle counts, if you're too different, or if you have to be someone else to be heard.
That is why this exists. Peer support is supposed to be about you. Not about who the supporter happens to relate to, and not about whatever story is loudest in the room. Skorpion Strength is built to be the opposite of being left out.
The Belong Pledge
- 01We will never ask you to prove your struggle.
- 02We will never rank pain. Yours counts.
- 03We will never make it about us.
- 04We will never push our story, beliefs or answers on you.
- 05Your story is yours. Tell it or don't. We don't own your words.
- 06You can ask for a different supporter at any time, without explaining why.
- 07If we get it wrong, tell us. We will listen, and we will fix it.
- 08You belong here before you say a single word.
Everyone. We mean it.
Every adult, 18 and up. Every background. Every body and every ability. Every belief. Every identity. Every way a brain can work. Every walk of life. Every kind of struggle, named or not.
We don't hand you a checklist of who qualifies. If you are here, you qualify.
Tell us what helps
Belonging also means the session fits you. Tell us what you need, and we will plan around it.
Your pace
Go slow. Take breaks. Stop any time.
Share at your own pace
Say as much or as little as you want. There is no wrong way to do this.
Your format
In person or remote. One-on-one or group. Talking, moving, or both.
Your needs
Sensory needs, noise, light, space, movement limits. Tell us what helps and we will work with it.
How it shows up
Words on a page are easy. Here is what we actually do.
One open question
Instead of a long form, we ask one thing: what do you want your supporter to know about you? You decide what to share.
Matching by request
If you want someone who shares more of your experience, we make it happen. If you don't, you are never required to be matched that way.
Mixed on purpose
Group sessions bring different stories together, so no single experience becomes the default.
Always learning
We don't claim to know your path. We listen, we ask, and we learn from every participant.
