Who we are

Skorpion Strength ("we", "us") is operated by Skorpion Strength LLC, based in Omaha, Nebraska. These terms cover our website and our Android app. By using either one, or by taking part in a session, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

What we offer

Skorpion Strength offers peer support and optional fitness encouragement, one-on-one or in groups, in person or remote. Our supporters share lived experience. We are not therapy, medical care, or an emergency service. See our Disclaimer for more.

Who can take part

Skorpion Strength is for adults, age 18 and older. You must be able to agree to these terms for yourself. If you are not sure whether this is right for you, ask us first. Everyone belongs here, and we would rather talk it through.

Your account

• You sign in with Google. You are responsible for your Google account and for keeping your device secure.
• Give us accurate contact information so we can reach you about sessions.
• You can stop at any time. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see our Privacy Policy).

Sessions and the workout

• Peer support is the heart of Skorpion Strength. The workout is optional and always at your pace.
• A short health check-in comes before any workout. If you have a health concern, please talk to your doctor before you start.
• You can stop any session, or any exercise, at any time without explaining.
• Exercise has real risks, including injury. By joining a workout you take part voluntarily. [A separate participation waiver will be added here after legal review.]

Fees and cancellation

Your words stay yours

You own what you write and say. We do not claim ownership of your journal entries, your safety plan, or your story. You give us permission only to store and show shared entries to you and your supporter so the app can work. We will not use your words in marketing without asking you first and getting your clear yes.

Privacy, and the one exception

Private journal entries are saved in your own Google account and are never stored on our servers. What you share with your supporter is covered by our Privacy Policy. The one exception to confidentiality is a risk of serious harm to you or someone else, or a situation where the law requires us to act, such as harm to a child or a vulnerable adult. We tell you this before you share anything.

How we expect everyone to act

Skorpion Strength is a judgment-free place. Please treat participants, supporters and staff with respect. We may pause or end access for anyone who harasses, threatens, discriminates against, or endangers others, or who misuses the app. We will tell you why.

Emergencies

We are not an emergency service and cannot watch messages for emergencies. If you or someone near you is in danger, call or text 988 or call 911. Please do not wait for a reply from us.

No guarantees

We offer support, not results. We cannot promise any outcome. We do our best to keep the website and app running, but they may sometimes be unavailable or contain mistakes.

Limits on our responsibility

To the fullest extent the law allows, Skorpion Strength LLC is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of Skorpion Strength. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that the law does not allow us to limit. [Attorney to confirm limitation of liability and indemnity language.]

Changes

We may update these terms. If we make a meaningful change, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.

Governing law
