A warm place to send people.
Referrals, partnerships and funding conversations. Peer support next to your work, not instead of it.
Peer support, with movement
Skorpion Strength offers peer support from people with lived experience, followed by an optional workout, for adults who are struggling. No diagnosis, referral or fitness level is needed. It is non-clinical and does not replace therapy, treatment or medical care. It can complement them.
Judgment-free
Participants lead. Supporters listen, share lived experience where it helps, and never diagnose.
Flexible
Peer support only, support then a workout, support during a workout, or a workout only. One-on-one or group. In person or online.

We are taking interest and partnership inquiries now.
Who we are for. Who we are not.
Clear scope helps you refer well. Here is where we fit, and where someone needs something else.
A good referral if…
- An adult is struggling and wants someone who has been through it.
- They have not connected with clinical or institutional settings.
- They would like support alongside, or between, other services.
- They want movement or music as part of opening up, or just want to talk.
- They are looking for a place to belong, and not a diagnosis.
Not the right service if…
- They are in crisis or immediate danger. Call or text 988, or call 911.
- They need a diagnosis, treatment, medication or clinical assessment.
- They need case management, housing, legal or other specialized services.
- They are not choosing it for themselves. Participation is always voluntary.
What peer support is, and is not
We do
Listen as an equal. Share lived experience where it helps. Help people set their own goals. Connect people with community resources. Offer an optional workout with a supporter beside them.
We do not
Diagnose, treat, prescribe, assess, give medical advice, or provide therapy or case management. We do not make clinical decisions.
Who supports
People with lived experience. Peer support training and Nebraska certification are required for every supporter before they work with participants.
How a referral works
We keep it simple, and we keep it the participant’s choice.
You share
Give the person our website, or ask them to leave their info on the Book page. Please do not send us names or health details on their behalf.
They choose
We do not accept enrollment for another adult. We reach out only to someone who has asked us to.
We welcome them
A simple first conversation, then their own safety plan. They decide how much to share.
Coordination, if they want it
If a participant asks us to coordinate with you, we will do so only with their written permission.
Protecting people comes first
- What a participant shares is theirs. We do not share it without their permission, except where safety or the law requires.
- We are not an emergency or crisis service. Every participant writes a safety plan and knows where to turn, including 988 and 911.
- Participants can pause, stop, or skip any part, at any time.
- Our supporters sign a confidentiality agreement and complete safety training before they work with participants.

Nebraska, and online everywhere
In person, we currently serve Douglas, Sarpy, Saunders and Dodge counties in Nebraska. Online, we are here for people in every state. As we grow, we plan to expand to additional states.
Building this the right way
We are early, and we are building carefully: certification first, then sessions, then growth. We welcome conversations with community organizations, health and behavioral health providers, and public and private funders about how peer support can fit alongside existing services.
A referral pathway
A simple way to point people to us, with the participant in charge.
Talks and training
We are glad to share how peer support works with your team or community.
Community events
Gatherings, workshops and partnerships that bring people together.
Funding
Conversations about funded and sliding-scale options for people who need them.
We make no claim of endorsement or approval by any agency or funder. Pricing is not final. A sliding scale and funded options are planned.
